Prodigy, According to Merriam-Webster the definition of the word prodigy is; a highly talented child or youth. We’re all heard of prodigies before; Mozart – world famous composer, Sergey Karjakin- world master of chess, and Sheldon- Big Bang theory. In all honesty I have always wanted to be a prodigy, in anything! Could you imagine being so phenomenal at something that you are the one person everyone thinks of when they think of famous musicians or scientists or doctors? Prodigies are one in a million. I want to be that one In a million. I want to be so wonderful and great at something that it becomes me! Does that make me a selfish person? Does that make me self-absorbed or conceited? I wonder. If I could be a prodigy in anything I’d want it to be Musical Theater. I would love to see my name on Broadway or on a playbill or have my name on a soundtrack. I would love to be someone who could change the face of musical theater as we know it today, to bad musical theater doesn’t change that way. It’s not the same as medicine or science it stays the same constantly. Only thing changing being taste and or opinion. But I am determined to get as close as I can to that prodigy. I am determined to be the best. I will be, at least, the best I am capable of. No matter what I will work for it and I will not quit until I know that I have made it as far as I can go. That won’t be till I am on Broadway, in a show, my name in a playbill! I may not be the world’s definition of a prodigy, but I will be my definition of a prodigy. I will work and learn and try as hard as I can, that will make me my prodigy. Prodigy, I will be my own prodigy.

I think this is an awesome post. Love the Sheldon from Big Bang Theory. And I really have an understanding of wanting to be on Broadway, or " in the spot light " . Good luck to you on Broadway. Break a leg!
